Refund policy
Last updated: 2026-08-21
This page explains how cancellations and refunds work for Broadcastle paid plans. It is part of our Terms of service.
1. Cancelling a monthly subscription
- You can cancel at any time from Billing settings in the dashboard.
- Cancelling takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access to your plan until then.
- You will not be charged again after you cancel.
- The remaining part of the current period is not refunded, in whole or in part.
2. Annual plans
An annual plan is a one-time purchase that gives you twelve months of the chosen plan. There is nothing to cancel: it simply runs until it expires and is not renewed automatically. The unused part of an annual plan is not refunded.
3. No automatic refund window
We do not offer a trial-style "money-back" period, and there is no self-serve refund button. That said, we understand things go wrong — if you believe a charge was made in error, or the service did not work for you, get in touch and we will look at it.
4. How to request a refund
- Email support@broadcastle.io from the address on your account.
- Tell us which charge you mean (date and amount) and why you are asking.
- We review every request individually and reply by email.
If we grant a refund, it is returned to the original payment method (your card via Stripe, or your PayPal account). It can take several business days to appear, depending on your bank or PayPal.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank or PayPal — we can usually resolve the issue faster. Accounts with an open dispute may be suspended until it is resolved.
6. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you, including the Quebec Consumer Protection Act and the laws of your place of residence.
